| Description | FITC-C6-PLALWAR-Lys(Biotin)-NH2 is a substrate for matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1), MMP-2, and MMP-3 that can be sequestered by streptavidin via its biotin group.1 Upon cleavage by MMP-1, MMP-2, or MMP-3, FITC is released and its fluorescence can be used to quantify MMP-1, MMP-2, and MMP-3 activity. FITC displays excitation/emission maxima of 485/535 nm, respectively.WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use. | | References | [1] E. JON JACOBSEN.
