| | POLY(ETHYLENE GLYCOL) (N) MONOMETHACRYLATE Usage And Synthesis |
| Description | POLY(ETHYLENE GLYCOL) (N) MONOMETHACRYLATE (PEGMA) is a long-chain hydrophilic macromonomer used to introduce hydrophilic sites into polymers, stabilize emulsion polymers, and prepare comb polymers. PEGMA can also be used to prepare polyelectrolyte solutions for the development of lithium-ion batteries. It can be photopolymerized to form zwitterionic monomers that can be coated on steel surfaces for biofouling related applications. | | Uses | Comonomer in emulsion polymerization, thickener and dispersant and suspending aid. | | General Description | May darken upon storage. | | reaction suitability | reagent type: cross-linking reagent reaction type: Polymerization Reactions |
