| Uses | Polymyxin B2 Sulfate is a polypeptide antibiotic that has antibacterial activity, particularly against gram-negative bacteria. Polymyxin B2 Sulfate kills the bacteria by binding to lipopolysaccharide molecules on the bacterial cell membrane, disrupting the integrity of the cell membrane and causing the cell contents to leak. Polymyxin B2 Sulfate can be used in antibiotic development and treatment of drug-resistant strains[1]. | | References | [1] Meng M, et al.
