| | CERIC SULFATE Usage And Synthesis |
| Application | 1. Used as a color developer for aniline black and in the production of colored glass. 2. Its pentahydrate, octahydrate, and nonahydrate are used as polishing materials for optical glass. 3. Can be used as a catalyst in the synthesis of compounds such as amyl butyrate and butyl acetate, both of which can be used as food flavorings and solvents. 4. Can be added to aluminum alloys to improve the corrosion resistance of the oxide film. 5. Can be used as an additive to control membrane fouling in membrane bioreactors. The overview, physicochemical properties, preparation methods, and applications of cerium sulfate were compiled and edited by Ding Hong of Chemicalbook.
