| Uses | L-Lysine-d3 (hydrochloride) is the deuterium labeled L-Lysine. L-lysine is an essential amino acid[1][2] with important roles in connective tissues and carnitine synthesis, energy production, growth in children, and maintenance of immune functions[2]. | | Biological Activity | L-Lysine-d3 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of L-lysine by GC- or LC-MS. L-Lysine is an essential amino acid.1 It is catabolized via the saccharopine pathway to produce acetyl-coenzyme A in liver mitochondria.
