Uses2-Nitro-4,5-Difluorotoluene is a hydrocarbon derivative used as an intermediate in organic synthesis.
SynthesisThere are two ways to generate nitrotoluene derivatives, one is to use the substitution of toluene as raw material in the mixed acid of sulfuric acid and nitric acid and nitric acid a nitration reaction to obtain dinitrotoluene, the other method is to use the nitric acid toluene as raw material to generate nitrotoluene derivatives through the substitution reaction on the aryl ring. 2-nitro-4,5-difluorotoluene is obtained by nitration reaction with 4,5-difluorotoluene as the starting material.
