| Description | Flurtamone is a herbicide used to control broadleaved weeds and grasses. It has a moderate aqueous solubility, low volatility and, based on its chemical properties, is not expected to leach to groundwater. It is not normally persistent in soil or water-sediment systems. It has a low mammalian toxicity and no serious health risks have been identified from the literature.
