AromaM-CRESYL PHENYLACETATE has Lily-Narcissus-YlangYlang type odor. More musky, and also milder than the para-Cresyl phenylacetate, but produces very "chemical" overtones slightly beyond normal use-level.
Useful in Honey-bases, and in Jasmin, Lilac, Narcissus bases, etc.
Physical propertiesWhite granular crystals, melting at 51°C. Insoluble in water, soluble 15% in alcohol, miscible with most perfume oils.
Production MethodsM-CRESYL PHENYLACETATE can be produced from mera-Cresol sodium plus Phenyl acet ylchloride.
