| | O-(TETRADECYLPHOSPHORYL)CHOLINE 1.5 MM S Usage And Synthesis |
| Uses | Tetradecyl-phosphocholine is a detergent for membrane protein solubilization. | | Biological Activity | n-Tetradecylphosphocholine (C14PC), a more stable analog of myristoyl lysophosphatidylcholine, is an inhibitor of MARSA virulence. C14PC is a broad-spectrum inhibitor of Panton–Valentine leucocidin (PVL), LukED and α-toxin. C14PC protects primary human immune cells in vitro against cytolysis by PVL and α-toxin. C14PC can be used as a detergent for membrane solubilization. |
