| Description | NN1177 is a dual peptide agonist of the glucagon receptor (GCGR) and glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor (GLP-1R).1 It induces cAMP production in BHK-21 cells expressing human GCGR or GLP-1R (EC50s = 1.83 and 0.92 pM, respectively). In vivo, NN1177 (3-5 nmol/kg) reduces body weight and cumulative food intake in a mouse model of diet-induced obesity. It also reduces body weight, hepatic fat accumulation and fibrosis, and plasma alanine transaminase (ALT) levels in a mouse model of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) induced by a high-fat, high-fructose, and high-cholesterol diet.2WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use. | | References | [1] L.
