| | 2-FLUOROPHENYLZINC IODIDE Usage And Synthesis |
| Uses | 2-Fluorophenyl zinc iodide is a pharmaceutical intermediate that has been reported in the literature to be used in the preparation of cannabinoid receptor modulators and estrogen receptor β (ERβ) agonists. | | Application | 2-Fluorophenyl zinc iodide can be used to prepare cannabinoid receptor modulators with the following structures. Currently recognized cannabinoid receptors include CB1 and CB2 receptors. In the early 1990s, CB1 and CB2 receptors, which bind to cannabinoids in vivo, were cloned, respectively. The CB1 receptor consists of 473 amino acids and 7 transmembrane domains, while the CB2 receptor consists of 360 amino acids and 7 transmembrane domains; both are G protein-coupled receptors. Cannabinoid receptor modulators have shown good therapeutic effects in treating multiple sclerosis, pain, and liver fibrosis. |
