| Preparation | Using 2-chloronicotinic acid as a raw material, it is condensed with phenol under a strongly alkaline environment, then dehydrated by polyphosphoric acid, reduced by potassium borohydride, then hydrolyzed in acid, and finally acylated with chloroacetyl chloride.
