Biochem/physiol ActionsCLP257 is a selective K+-Cl cotransporter KCC2 activator that restored impaired Cl transport in neurons with reduced KCC2 activity. Apparently, CLP257 modulates plasmalemmal KCC2 protein turnover post-translationally.
