Phanta® Max Super-Fidelity DNA Polymerase is the upgrade version of Phanta®
Super-Fidelity DNA Polymerase. Compared with its predecessor, Phanta® Max was
added with special elongation factor, specificity promoting factor and inhibitor
remove factor in plateau phase, which greatly improved the amplification capability,
specificity and output for its long fragment. Phanta® Max can effectively amplify a
fragment with 40kb by utilizing λ DNA, plasmid and other simple template, and
amplify a fragment with 20kb and 10kb by using genome DNA and cDNA template
respectively. The mispairing rate of amplification is 1/53 of common Taq polymerase
and 1/6 of Pfu polymerase. In additional, Phanta® Max has good resistance against
PCR inhibitor, which is suitable for direct PCR of bacteria, fungi, plant tissue, animal
tissue or whole blood sample. Moreover, two kinds of monoclonal antibody which
can inhibit the activity of 5’ → 3’ polymerase and 3’ → 5’ exonuclease have been
added in Phanta® Max, so it is able to carry out hot start PCR of high specificity.
Therefore, Phanta® Max Super-Fidelity DNA Polymerase becomes the preferred
enzyme of high fidelity PCR due to high fidelity and outstanding amplification
efficiency.
This product contains Phanta® Max Super-Fidelity DNA Polymerase, dNTP and
optimized buffering system. The amplification can be conducted by adding primer
and template only, which can not only reduce the liquid relief, but also increase the
repeatability of flux and result. The protective agent added in system make Master
Mix keeping stable activity after repeated freezing and thawing. The amplified
product is flush end, which is suitable for ClonExpress® rapid cloning kit
(C112/C113/C114).
