Integrin αMβ2分子背景
整合素ITGAM/ITGB2参与单核细胞、巨噬细胞和粒细胞的各种粘附相互作用，以及介导补体包被颗粒和病原体的摄取。它与CR-3相同，CR-3是第三种补体成分iC3b片段的受体。它可能识别C3b中的R-G-D肽。整合素ITGAM/ITGB2也是纤维蛋白原、因子X和ICAM1的受体。它识别纤维蛋白原γ链的P1和P2肽。与CD177-PRTN3介导的TNF诱导的中性粒细胞活化所需的β亚基ITGB2/CD18相关。可能调节吞噬作用诱导的外渗中性粒细胞凋亡。可能在肥大细胞发育中发挥作用。小胶质细胞中TYROBP/DAP12需要控制小胶质细胞超氧阴离子的产生，超氧阴离子促进大脑发育过程中发生的神经元凋亡。
