This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 32.0 kDa. The protein migrates as 45-65 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
癌胚抗原相关细胞粘附分子6（非特异性交叉反应抗原）（CEACAM6）也称为CD66c（分化簇66c）、CEAL、NCA，是免疫球蛋白超家族中的七个人类CEACAM家族成员之一。在人类中，CEACAMs包括I型跨膜蛋白（CEACAM1、CEACAM3和CEACAM4）和GPI连接分子（CEACAM5至CEACAM8）。没有人类CEACAM2。CEACAM 6包含一个N端V型Ig样结构域（N结构域），后面是两个C2型Ig样域。它显示出相当大的糖基化，包括（唾液酸基）LewisX，它介导与E-选择素、半乳凝素和一些细菌膜的结合。CEACAM-6由粒细胞及其祖细胞表达。它也由各种器官的上皮细胞表达，在胰腺癌和结肠癌以及增生性息肉中上调。在CEACAM6过表达的情况下，肿瘤细胞对粘附相关凋亡具有抗性。
