NEK7 (NIMA-related kinase 7) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the NEK family, which plays critical roles in cell cycle regulation, particularly during the G2/M transition and mitotic progression. It is essential for spindle assembly, chromosome alignment, and cytokinesis. Structurally, NEK7 contains a conserved N-terminal kinase domain and a C-terminal regulatory region, with its activity tightly controlled by interactions with other mitotic regulators like the Ran GTPase and the chromosomal passenger complex.

NEK7 antibodies are immunological tools designed to detect and study the expression, localization, and function of the NEK7 protein in various biological contexts. These antibodies are widely used in techniques such as Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry to investigate NEK7's role in cell division, its dysregulation in diseases like cancer, and its involvement in non-mitotic processes, including inflammasome activation in immune responses.
