The NDUFV2 antibody is a crucial tool for studying the NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase core subunit V2 (NDUFV2), a key component of mitochondrial Complex I in the electron transport chain. NDUFV2. encoded by the nuclear DNA, is one of the core subunits of Complex I (NADH dehydrogenase), which catalyzes the transfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone, coupled with proton translocation across the mitochondrial inner membrane to drive ATP synthesis. Dysregulation of NDUFV2 is linked to mitochondrial disorders, neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Parkinson’s), and cancers due to its role in oxidative phosphorylation and cellular energy metabolism.

NDUFV2 antibodies are widely used in techniques like Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry to detect protein expression, localization, and post-translational modifications.
