KRL74 is a cyclic peptide inhibitor polypeptide composed of 8 amino acids, which can inhibit the interaction between the p6 domain of HIV Gag protein and the UEV domain (p6/UEV) of human TSG101 protein. Its IC50 is 5.44 μ M and Kd is 11.9 μ M. KRL74 can inhibit the process of HIV budding from host cells, with an IC50 of 2 μ M in virus like particle (VLP) budding assay.
