The DNALI1 antibody targets dynein light intermediate chain 1 (DNALI1), a component of the cytoplasmic dynein complex, a motor protein critical for intracellular cargo transport along microtubules. DNALI1. encoded by the *DNALI1* gene, functions as part of the dynein-dynactin machinery, facilitating retrograde vesicle trafficking, organelle positioning, and mitotic spindle organization. It plays a role in neuronal transport, ciliary function, and cell division. Dysregulation of DNALI1 has been linked to neurodevelopmental disorders and ciliopathies, such as primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD), due to its importance in ciliary structure and motility.

Antibodies against DNALI1 are widely used in research to study dynein complex assembly, intracellular transport mechanisms, and disease pathology. They enable detection of DNALI1 expression via Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry, aiding in the characterization of cellular localization and protein interactions. Commercial DNALI1 antibodies are typically raised in rabbits or mice, with validation in specific applications (e.g., human or murine tissues).
