The heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein F (HNRNPF) is a member of the HNRNP family, which plays critical roles in RNA metabolism, including pre-mRNA splicing, transport, stability, and translation regulation. HNRNPF contains three quasi-RRM (qRRM) domains that enable its binding to GU-rich sequences in target RNAs. It participates in alternative splicing decisions, mRNA nuclear export, and miRNA processing, impacting diverse cellular processes such as cell cycle progression, DNA repair, and stress responses.

Antibodies targeting HNRNPF are essential tools for studying its expression, localization, and molecular interactions. They are widely used in techniques like Western blotting, immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Validated HNRNPF antibodies help elucidate its functional roles in diseases, particularly cancer.
