蛋白结构（Molecular Characterization）
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 16.9 kDa. Maybe caused by unknown PTMs, the protein migrates as 18-19 kDa and 21-22 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition, and 35-43 kDa under non-reducing (NR) condition (SDS-PAGE).
The protein is designed as a dimer.

CD3ε 分子（epsilon），也称为 CD3E，是一种 T 细胞表面的单次跨膜 I 型膜糖蛋白。CD3E 包含 1 个免疫球蛋白样（Ig-like）结构域和 1 个 ITAM（免疫受体酪氨酸激活基序）结构域。CD3E 与 CD3-γ、CD3-δ、CD3-ζ 以及 T 细胞受体 α/β 和 γ/δ 异二聚体共同组成 T 细胞受体-CD3 复合物 (T cell receptor-CD3 complex)。该复合物在将抗原识别偶联至多条细胞内信号转导通路中发挥重要作用。
编码 ε、γ 和 δ 多肽的基因位于 11 号染色体上的同一基因簇中。ε 多肽在 T 细胞发育中起着至关重要的作用。CD3E 在 T 细胞发育中扮演关键角色，CD3E 基因的缺陷会导致严重的免疫缺陷症。 此外，CD3E 基因也与女性患 I 型糖尿病的易感性相关。
研究还表明，CD3E 可与 TOP2B、CD3EAP 和 NCK2 发生相互作用。
