This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™).
The protein has a calculated MW of 15.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 17-18 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景介绍
CD3ε分子（epsilon链），也称为CD3E，是一种T细胞表面的单次穿膜I型膜糖蛋白。CD3E包含1个免疫球蛋白样结构域（Ig-like domain）和1个ITAM结构域（免疫受体酪氨酸激活基序）。
CD3E与CD3-γ、CD3-δ、CD3-ζ链以及T细胞受体α/β和γ/δ异二聚体共同组成T细胞受体-CD3复合物（TCR-CD3 complex）。该复合物在将抗原识别与多种细胞内信号转导通路相衔接的过程中发挥关键作用。
编码ε、γ和δ多肽链的基因位于11号染色体的同一基因簇内。其中，ε链多肽在T细胞发育中起不可或缺的作用。CD3E在T细胞发育中扮演核心角色，其基因缺陷可导致严重免疫缺陷症。此外，CD3E基因也被认为与女性罹患I型糖尿病（Type I diabetes）的易感性相关。
研究已证实CD3E可与TOP2B、CD3EAP及NCK2蛋白发生相互作用。
