Activin receptor type-2B (ACVR2B) 又名 ActR-IIB 或 MGC116908，是一种激活素II型受体。激活素属于转化生长因子-β（TGF-β）超家族，是由结构相关信号蛋白组成的二聚体生长分化因子。其信号通过受体丝氨酸激酶异源复合体传导，该复合体至少包含两种I型受体（I型和IB型）和两种II型受体（II型和IIB型）。这些受体均为跨膜蛋白，结构包含：富含半胱氨酸的胞外配体结合域、跨膜结构域，以及具有丝氨酸/苏氨酸特异性预测的胞质结构域。
I型受体是信号传导的核心，II型受体则负责配体结合并调控I型受体的表达。配体结合后，I型和II型受体形成稳定复合体，导致II型受体使I型受体发生磷酸化。II型受体被认为是组成型活性激酶。
该基因编码的激活素A IIB型受体对配体的亲和力比激活素A II型受体高3至4倍。ACVR2B基因缺陷是导致常染色体遗传性内脏异位4型（HTX4）的病因。
