蛋白结构（Molecular Characterization）
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 18.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 35-45 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

白细胞介素18结合蛋白（IL18BP）亦称为Tadekinig-alfa、IL18BPa，其功能为IL18抑制剂。该蛋白是一种分泌型蛋白，包含一个免疫球蛋白样C2型结构域。由于缺乏跨膜结构域，IL18BP不会锚定在细胞膜上。其在心脏、肺、胎盘和脾脏中呈现高表达。IL18BP的A亚型可与IL-18结合并抑制其活性，还能作为早期TH1细胞因子反应的抑制剂。该蛋白通过抑制γ干扰素（IFN-γ）的产生，进而削弱1型辅助T细胞（Th1）的免疫应答。
