IP3RPEP6 is a competitive inhibitor peptide of IP3R, consisting of 12 amino acids. The IC50 values of IP3RPEP6 for IP3R1, IP3R2, and IP3R3 are 9.0 μ M, 3.9 μ M, and 4.3 μ M, respectively. IP3RPEP6 does not affect the Reynolds receptor and Cx43 half channel. IP3RPEP6 can regulate intracellular calcium signaling.
