[Pro3]-GIP (Mouse) is a high-affinity partial agonist peptide of the rat GIP receptor (Kd=13nM), containing 42 amino acids in its sequence. It enhances cAMP accumulation in COS-7 cells transfected with the rat GIP receptor and also acts as a competitive antagonist of GIP.
