Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP, CAS 6422-86-2) is a premium, colorless or slightly yellowish oily liquid featuring high stability and low volatility. It is practically insoluble in water but completely miscible with major organic solvents. As a highly efficient primary plasticizer, DOTP exhibits outstanding compatibility with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and various synthetic resins. In contrast to conventional phthalate plasticizers (such as DOP/DEHP), DOTP is free from ortho-phthalate structures, making it an eco-friendly and non-toxic alternative.
