Upleganan is a polymyxin analog and an important class of antibiotic peptides with a cyclic structure, which can be used to study bacterial infections caused by Gram-negative pathogens resistant to multiple drugs. The MIC values of Upleganan against the Pseudomonas aeruginosa Pa14 strain and the Acinetobacter baumannii NCTC13301 strain are both 0.125 mg/L.
