Alloferon 2 is a type of antimicrobial peptide that was originally extracted from flies as a peptide fragment consisting of 12 amino acids. In some biological in vitro experiments, it has been found that this peptide fragment can activate NK cells; In vivo experiments have shown that treating mice with this peptide fragment can induce the synthesis of interferon, which has anti influenza virus and anti-tumor functions. At present, Alloferon 2 is mainly used in the research stage of veterinary drugs.
