Description：Bactenecin是某些细菌在代谢过程中通过核糖体合成机制产生的一类具有抑菌活性的多肽或前体多肽，是由12个氨基酸组成的环状多肽。Bactenecin对同种近缘菌株呈现狭窄的抑制谱，通过在靶细胞上穿孔、抑制肽聚糖合成，与核糖体或tRNA相互作用抑制蛋白质合成，直接降解靶细胞DNA，从而起到抑菌效果。Bactenecin是从牛身体里提取出的一种具有二硫键结构的12肽。
Bactenecin is a class of peptides or precursor peptides with antibacterial activity produced by certain bacteria through ribosome synthesis mechanisms during metabolic processes. It is a cyclic peptide composed of 12 amino acids. Bactenecin exhibits a narrow inhibitory spectrum against closely related strains of the same species. By puncturing target cells, inhibiting peptidoglycan synthesis, and interacting with ribosomes or tRNA to inhibit protein synthesis, it directly degrades target cell DNA, thereby achieving antibacterial effects. Bactenecin is a 12 peptide with disulfide bond structure extracted from cattle body.
