Description：Nogo-66 (1-40)是对应于Nogo-66的残基1-40的多肽，序列中含有40个氨基酸，肽链两端均被封闭，Nogo-66是抑制轴突生长的髓鞘蛋白Nogo的结构域。作为Nogo-66受体(NgR)的竞争性拮抗剂，能阻断Nogo-66和CNS髓鞘诱导的轴突生长抑制，但在体外不降低髓鞘相关糖蛋白(MAG)对轴突生长的抑制。Nogo-66 (1-40)在体内脊髓损伤后促进半切脊髓轴突的再生和运动恢复。
Nogo-66 (1-40) is a peptide corresponding to residues 1-40 of Nogo-66, containing 40 amino acids in its sequence. Both ends of the peptide chain are blocked, and Nogo-66 is the domain of Nogo, a myelin protein that inhibits axonal growth. As a competitive antagonist of Nogo-66 receptor (NgR), it can block Nogo-66 and CNS myelin induced axonal growth inhibition, but does not reduce the inhibition of myelin associated glycoprotein (MAG) on axonal growth in vitro. Nogo-66 (1-40) promotes regeneration and motor recovery of semi cut spinal cord axons after spinal cord injury in vivo.
