Lesabelimab is a human immunoglobulin G1-kappa (IgG1κ) monoclonal antibody that specifically targets CD274, commonly known as programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). By binding to PD-L1 with high affinity, it competitively blocks the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptor PDCD1 (Programmed Cell Death Protein 1, PD-1) on T cells and other immune cells. This blockade releases the inhibitory “brake” on immune checkpoint signaling, thereby restoring T‑cell activation and enhancing anti‑tumor immune responses. It is developed as an immune checkpoint inhibitor for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
