背景介绍
T细胞表面糖蛋白CD4，也称为T细胞表面抗原T4/Leu-3。CD4包含三个Ig样C2型（免疫球蛋白样）结构域和一个Ig样V型（免疫球蛋白样）结构域。CD4是MHC-II类抗原与T细胞受体相互作用的辅助蛋白，能够诱导脂筏的聚集。CD4是HIV-1进入宿主T细胞的主要受体。HIV感染会导致表达CD4受体的T细胞数量进行性减少。因此，医学专业人员会参考CD4计数来决定HIV感染者的治疗起始时机。
