Annexin A1 is a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein derived from vertebrates, serving as an effector molecule mediating the anti-inflammatory effects of glucocorticoids within cells. It can be widely expressed in tissues and participates in various stages of the cell growth cycle. Annexin A1 may exist in soluble forms or bind stably or reversibly to cytoskeletal proteins, regulating interactions between cells and extracellular mechanisms. The peptide fragment Annexin A1 (1-11), composed of 11 amino acids, presents production challenges despite its short sequence, with hydrophobicity and side reactions further complicating its synthesis.
