Immunization with (Tyr9)-Cholecystokinin Octapeptide (sulfated) produces antisera specific to the N-terminus of CCK-8. (Tyr9)-Cholecystokinin Octapeptide (sulfated) has also been successfully iodinated and is used in radioimmunoassays for tissue and plasma CCK-8.
