Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulfonate (SDBS) is a highly efficient and widely utilized anionic surfactant appearing as white to light yellow powder or flakes at room temperature. It features outstanding foaming power, detergency, wetting, penetrating, dispersing, and emulsifying properties. Serving as a foundational raw material in compounding industrial cleaning products and emulsion polymerization, it significantly reduces the surface tension of aqueous solutions and maintains excellent stability across a broad pH range.

Core Applications
Detergents & Cleaners: Formulated as the primary active surfactant in household laundry powders, liquid detergents, dishwashing liquids, as well as industrial heavy-duty metal cleaners and textile scouring agents.
Emulsion Polymerization: Extensively utilized as an effective emulsifier and dispersant in the emulsion polymerization production of acrylics, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), PVC, and other polymer lattices.
Miscellaneous: Operates as an anti-caking agent in fertilizers, a wetting and dispersing agent in agrochemical formulations, a flotation agent in mining, and an air-entraining admixture in construction concrete.
