K11 is an antimicrobial peptide that is a straight chain polypeptide composed of 20 amino acids. K11 exhibits activity against MDR/XDR K. pneumoniae with a MIC of 8-512 μ g/mL and inhibits bacterial biofilm formation. K11 can synergistically interact with antibiotics such as Chloramphenicol, Meropenem, Rifampicin, etc. to combat drug-resistant K. pneumoniae. K11 has high thermal stability and wide pH stability.
