Description：Pardaxin最初从豹鳎皮肤分泌物中分离获得，是鱼类对抗捕食者（如鲨鱼）的天然化学防御物质。Pardaxin现可通过化学合成或重组表达制备，是一种阳离子抗菌肽，P5与P4仅相差第31位一个氨基酸（Gly→Asp），可用于以该肽为模板开展新型抗菌药物设计；构建肽膜相互作用研究模型；评估选择性细胞毒性用于抗癌药物筛选；同时支撑海洋天然产物与鱼类化学防御机制相关研究。
Pardaxin was originally isolated from the skin secretions of the leopard flounder and is a natural chemical defense that fish use against predators like sharks. Nowadays, Pardaxin can be made through chemical synthesis or recombinant expression. It's a cationic antimicrobial peptide, and P5 differs from P4 by just one amino acid at position 31 (Gly→Asp). It can be used as a template for designing new antimicrobial drugs, building models for peptide-membrane interaction studies, evaluating selective cytotoxicity for anticancer drug screening, and also supports research on marine natural products and chemical defense mechanisms in fish.
