Description：豹鳎毒素（pardaxin）是一种具有α-螺旋结构的多肽，包含33个氨基酸，因最早在石纹豹鳎体内被发现而得名。豹鳎背鳍、腹鳍和臀鳍基部有超过两百个毒腺由小孔通向体外，豹鳎毒素就从这里产生并被分泌到体表黏液中去，这种毒素能够破坏细胞中的磷脂双分子层，改变细胞的渗透性，引起细胞溶解释放内容物，并像表面活性剂一样降低细胞表面的张力。Pardaxin是一种抗菌、凋亡和神经毒性离子载体多肽。能在脂质膜上形成孔，同时能诱导半胱天冬酶依赖性和ROS介导的细胞凋亡；刺激花生四烯酸(Asc 916)和类花生酸的钙非依赖性PLA2释放，在体内非常活跃。
Pardaxin is a peptide with an alpha helical structure, containing 33 amino acids, named after its first discovery in the body of the stone striped leopard sole. There are over 200 venom glands at the base of the dorsal, ventral, and anal fins of the leopard sole, which lead through small holes to the outside of the body. Leopard sole toxins are produced here and secreted into the surface mucus. This toxin can destroy the phospholipid bilayer in cells, alter cell permeability, cause cell lysis, release contents, and reduce cell surface tension like surfactants. Pardaxin is an antibacterial, apoptotic, and neurotoxic ion carrier peptide. Can form pores on lipid membranes and induce caspase dependent and ROS mediated cell apoptosis; Stimulate the calcium independent release of arachidonic acid (Asc 916) and arachidonic acid like PLA2, which is highly active in the body.
