Bombinakinin M is a potent bradykinin receptor agonist peptide containing 19 amino acids in its sequence. It exhibits high selectivity for bradykinin receptors in mammalian arterial smooth muscle, with an efficacy approximately 50 times greater than that of bradykinin. Bombinakinin M induces dose-dependent contraction in guinea pig ileal smooth muscle (EC50 = 4.0 nM).
