理化性质：科罗索酸为白色无定型粉末（甲醇），可溶于石油醚、苯、氯仿、吡啶等有机溶剂，不溶于水，可溶于热乙醇、甲醇。在无水条件下，与强酸（硫酸、磷酸、高氯酸）、中强酸（三氯乙酸）或Lewis氏酸（氯化锌、三氯化铝、三氯化锑）作用，会出现颜色反应或萤光。

Corosolic Acid is an extract from the leaves of some plants such as Loquat, Lagerstroemia speciosa etc. Those are native Asian plants and are found in China, Japan, India, the Philippines and the Southeastern part of Asia. This ingredient is believed to be beneficial in treating type 2 diabetes because it may possess the ability to reduce glucose levels. This has been tested in mice. Corosolic Acid may also be beneficial in lowering the blood pressure as well as burning fat. It is also believed to have powerful antioxidant properties.
