S-80 | 1. It is hard to dissolve in water, soluble in hot oil and organic solvents. It is a high lipophilic emulsifier. 2. Used for W/O emulsion explosive, nylon and viscose cord oil, it has good smoothing effect on fiber. It is used for emulsification of machinery, coatings, chemicals and explosives. It can be used as emulsifier in heavy oil drilling mud, emulsifier in food and cosmetic production, dispersant in paint and paint industry, stabilizer in titanium dioxide production, insecticide, wetting agent and emulsifier in pesticide production, auxiliary solvent in petroleum products, and antirust agent in antirust oil. Lubricants and softeners for textiles and leather. 3. As a film antifogging agent, it has good initial and low temperature antifogging property. Application:
An emulsifier Sorbitan monooleate is used as a lipophillic non-ionic surfactant, emulsifier, stabilizer for oil based lotions, ointments, in textiles as antistat, lubricant for fabric softener, sweetening agent, food additive, toothpaste, tobacco, toiletries and in cosmetics. It serves as a dispersant in oil field chemicals and as a corrosion Inhibitor. Further, it plays as an important role as excipient and intravenous osmotic diuretic in pharmaceutical fields.
