Difference between Biotin and D-Biotin?

Biotin is a coenzyme involved in lipid and protein metabolism and helps convert food into glucose. Among all the eight isomers (or versions) of Biotin, D-Biotin is the naturally occurring and biologically active form. It is believed to be the only type that has full vitamin capabilities.
