Description

5-bromo-2-chloroisonicotinic acid is the initiation material of many pharmaceutical syntheses, particularly the critical intermediate of many pyridine compounds. 2,5-dichloropyridine was adopted as a raw material and includes preparing 5-bromo-2-chloropyridine under actions of a certain solvent and a catalyst through a substitution process and hydroxylating to generate the 5-bromo-2-chloroisonicotinic acid.
