(±)8(9)-EET-d11 methyl ester is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of 8(9)-EET methyl ester by GC- or LC-MS. (±)8(9)-EET methyl ester (Item No. 50350) is an esterified form of (±)8(9)-EET (Item No. 50351). 8(S),9(R)-EET and 8(R),9(S)-EET are formed via epoxidation of arachidonic acid (Item Nos. 90010 | ) by a variety of cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoforms.1 8(S),9(R)-EET is produced at a higher proportion by CYP2B2 and CYP2C24, whereas 8(R),9(S)-EET is produced at a greater proportion by CYP2C23.WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
