AZD 5069 is an antagonist of chemokine receptor 2 (CXCR2; IC50 = 0.79 nM in a radioligand binding assay). It inhibits CXCL1-induced CD11b expression in and chemotaxis of isolated human neutrophils (pA2s = 6.9 and 9.1, respectively).
