Description
N-(Azido-PEG3)-N-Boc-PEG4-NHS ester is a branched PEGylation reagent with a terminal azide group (N3), a Boc protected amine (NH2), and a terminal NHS ester.The azide group enables PEGylation via Click Chemistry. The NHS ester can be used to label the primary amines (-NH2) of proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules. The protected amine can be deprotected under acidic conditions.
Uses
N-(Azido-PEG4)-N-Boc-PEG4-NHS ester is a PEG-based PROTAC linker with a terminal azide group. N-(Azido-PEG4)-N-Boc-PEG4-NHS ester is used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1] N-(Azido-PEG4)-N-Boc-PEG4-NHS ester is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
