[Des-Tyr1]-gamma-Endorphin is a neuropeptide, which can be found in human cerebrospinal fluid. [Des-Tyr1]-gamma-Endorphin exhibits antidepressant efficacy, facilitates the extinction of active avoidance and attenuates the passive avoidance behavior in rats[1].
