Z-Ala-Ala-Asn-AMC (Cbz-Ala-Ala-Asn-AMC) is the legumain substrate. Overexpressed legumain in 293 HEK-Leg cells potently cleaved CBZ-Ala-Ala-Asn-AMC[1].
